The series started by wanting to cast sheets of paper
Ultimately i made a mold of about 20 sheets of paper because a single sheet was too thin i would cast them and silk screen on the sheets before they were fully cured and could still do fold them
i made paper planes, crumpled up balls, folded like letters etc…
I wanted to do origami but the material would break.
I think i read somewhere once “post-modernism is a concrete box with an image of a column printed on it”
i was kind of playing with something around that, and this idea of a rigid sheet of paper that was trying to stand up.
